Kelrik Cares

Help us support others

Giving back is a vital part of a full and rewarding life. Kelrik Productions is excited to partner with some amazing volunteer groups and non-profit organizations that do so much to help the communities that all of us are a part of. As successful members of the community, we have a responsibility to help those that are less fortunate and contribute to the common good. Three seasons ago Kelrik adopted the Kelrik Cares Program, selecting a different organization for each production, and raised money and awareness for their causes. In the past 3 years, cast members have collected thousands of dollars with the help of our amazing guest volunteer organizations such as Woods Humane Society, Big Brothers, Casa, The Prado Day Center and Kids Cancer Reseach Foundation. Giving back to the community brings a pleasant feeling of connectedness and the satisfaction of doing our part to make the world a better place. Those less fortunate than we are can appreciate our help all year round. Give what you can regularly to the charities that make a difference to your local and national community. You may be surprised at the benefits you reap!

Food Bank Coalition of SLO County

Food Bank Coalition of San Luis Obispo County is the only countywide source of nutritious food for people in need from San Miguel to Nipomo. Working hand in hand with volunteers, donors, corporate sponsors and non-profit agency partners, it's their mission to see that no one in our county goes hungry. When it was founded in 1989, the Food Bank Coalition distributed 400,000 pounds of food annually through 20 non-profit agency partners. Today, about 5.5 million pounds of food pass in and out of their doors each year. They work hand in hand with more than 200 non-profit agencies including: church pantries, recovery programs, after school programs, homeless shelters, soup kitchens and more. We also have direct distribution programs: Senior Brown Bag, Cal Fresh/Food Stamp, Emergency Food Assistance Program (EFAP), Food for Children, Harvest Bag, Healthy Food for Local Families, and Summer Feeding Service Program (SFSP).

Sisters by Heart

Sisters by Heart supports newly-diagnosed HLHS families by providing specially-designed care packages and a supportive network of HLHS families. We offer comfort and hope for our warriors and their families...one precious heart at a time. Sisters by Heart is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation founded by a group of heart moms who came together during their journey with Congenital Heart Defects – some of whom were fortunate to meet prior to their CHD warrior's arrival. We’ve supported each other in our journeys with our congenital heart defect children.
